  1. Awesome quote!

Nice new look to your blog.

  2. The only problem I see with that quote is that too often I hear people using it as an excuse not to share with words at all. Instead of letting their well-lived, Christlike life bear testimony to Jesus Christ, they only live the life and they never share what it is they have.

But for those of us who do share verbally, it’s an excellent reminder.

  3. I agree Thief, I also think that many people only use words and faith without works is dead.

  4. True. And those who bear Christ’s name who don’t act much like Christ (you know, people like me) need to continually strive to live the Gospel instead of simply speak it. The difficulty here is that this is a life-long struggle, not simply an evangelism strategy.

  5. I agree, it is a life long struggle. It also drives me crazy when people come to Christ and others expect them to change in the blink of an eye. I think we as Christians forget what it was like at that moment. Yes, there is life change but the rest takes time, it takes that life long race to get anywhere. A friend of mine always says that if you walk eight miles in the woods you have to walk eight miles back.
