First off I have been talking to different people and spending a lot of time in prayer and I feel that the calling God put on my life so long ago is as relevant today as it was when I felt it. I am called to full-time ministry. I have a passion for youth that has deepened over the last couple months with my teaching internship and as I get more involved in our youth ministry at Northstar. Here is part of an email a good friend sent me, we have been emailing back and forth and meeting together for sometime now about life, love, and everything else. “My grandfather was in ministry for over 67 years and when I shared with him that God was dealing with me about ministry, he told me, “If you have tried other things and God still keeps bringing you back to the ministry, then there’s a good chance that He is calling you INTO the ministry.” At that point I tried everything I knew to do, but I still felt this tug to lead. So finally, I jumped and I have never regretted it.” I am at the crest of the bridge and the water is far below, I too am going to jump, I hope feet first. It’s a long way down but God is worth it.

Secondly… my wife and I have been trying to have a child for over a year. We have told no one. We have both had full work ups and last month a doctor we where seeing decided we should try some fertility drugs and also referred us to a fertility specialist. The day of the visit we decided to make sure my wife was not pregnant since we where about to start a long process and spend a lot of money. She was not so we went ahead with the initial visit/interview. We where really encouraged, then Monday came… my wife was feeling sick so we decided to check one more time. God is awesome. She went back to the fertility specialist and they took some blood. The lady laughed and said they never had someone get pregnant before they started all the testing. So far everything is going well, and this is totally of God. We will have the first ultrasound in a week or so and I will post more then. Praise God from who all blessings flow.
