Observations of the Evening

-Great concert featuring Jadon Lavik, Barlow Girl, & Rebecca St. James

-All the April Fools pranks that the bands pulled on each other during the show

-Closing my eyes & listening to youth sing their hearts out to God

-Watching police officers guard the stage & yet take part, mouthing words of praise, & crying out in silent worship

-Rebecca St. James physically picking up her Bible & sharing what God has put on her heart lately

-Barlow Girl rockin’ out and sharing about their roots

-Rebecca St. James retreating from the front of the stage while leading worship, getting on her knees (where few could see her), & praying to God in the darkness while the band played on.

-The joy on my wife’s face when she found out I was taking her to see Rebecca St. James

  1. I’m so jealous of you guys! I’ve never been to a Christian concert like that – only a very small one with Relient K and… I can’t remember the other band that was playing. But some day I will, surely.

  2. Relient K is awesome!!! They play what I refer to as “pop” punk. They have catchy lyrics, great riffs, play dynamicly, play in more then just 4/4, & sing great harmony. Thank God for good music.
